On the 9th of October 2006, Google invested 1.65 billion dollars in YouTube. This opens a lot of perspectives in many directions. First of all, this partnership allows Google to improve his "video" part. Then it creates a huge space for professionnal advertising, and finally, it materialises the deepest wills of people who try to be known in audiovisual world.
Vice Versa, the Google technology will allow YouTube to improve its search engine.
Anyway, this network is definitely one of the most important innovation of the year, not to say of the beginning of the 21th century (definitely for the artistic world). In France, we've seen since a few weeks, the increasing success of Kamini, a country man, living in a 100 inhabitants village, who broadcasted his song and video on You Tube, and who's now known by everyone.
